This is White Birch/Paper Birch Kuksa carving for Shannon. This is the rough shaping of the cup done only by axe..
I usually carve outdoors no matter what the weather is like, but I just injured my hand 7 days prior to this and the damp cold air would’ve slowed me down. [Plus you wouldn’t see much details in the dark…]
